Our history:

The Rizzuto farm covers about 30 hectares between the municipalities of Monreale and Roccamena in the province of Palermo, a few kilometers from Camporeale. To maximize the olive-growing heritage, the company aims to enhance the native cultivars of Biancolilla, Cerasuola and Nocellara del Belice which, together with the centuries-old olive groves, are the company's pride. Our best extra virgin olive oil will be born from these trees. The name Boccadorzo derives from the district where it all began, "mouth of barley", where my great-grandfather, in 1927, planted about one hectare of Biancolilla and Cerasuola trees; today there are about 10 hectares planted, with the grafting of the Nocellara del Belice cultivar. In 2013, 1,000 Stanley plum trees were planted. The perfect exposure and loving care give each year an abundant harvest, part of which will be used for the production of a very delicate extra plum jam. The absolute absence of chemical products in the cultivation phase, the ancient cooking method and the very low quantity of sugars offer us a product of excellent quality.
